The office at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds LLC is located in the farm house at 180 Fitch Road. The house built in the 1770's by Ebenezer Fitch was the original house built on neighboring River Run Farm. This site is rumored to be the actual site of General Burgoyne's surrender in the Revolutionary War.

The farm is located five minutes from the Union Avenue gate of the Saratoga race course.  This proximity is a real advatage to our clients who enjoy making the short trip to the farm to see their mares and foals.

The one hundred acres that the Fitch Road Farm occupies is also home to a 10 stall stallion complex. The breeding shed, lab and an apartment are under the stallion barn roof. Also on Fitch Road there is a 14 stall barn, a 13 stall barn, a 9 stall barn and an 11 stall barn. The majority of the foaling takes place at the Fitch Road Farm. The stallion complex is separated from the mare barns by Stetkar Road and Fitch Road, giving the stallions a peaceful secluded area.

Formerly known as The Dodd Farm, Old Saratoga Thoroughbreds is a twenty-acre farm owned by John and Kate McMahon. Primarily used as a broodmare farm, this farm was purchased in 1994. There are 16 stalls here.
Meadow View Farm is also a part of the Dodd Farm and has been primarily used for crops since being purchased in 1994.  This year the land has been fenced and two barns are now complete.  This property is dedicated entirely to young horses.

The newest addition is 100 acre East View Farm.  The property adjoins Meadowview and Old Saratoga Thoroughbreds and is used entirely for Broodmares.  Nearly all of our hay is grown in Saratoga County, primarily in the towns of Saratoga and Stillwater.  The farm now encompasses over 400 acres.
