SOLIMINI has wasted no time making his presence felt as the calendar turns, putting together a strong stretch of results to close out 2025 and open 2026 in style. Between December 31 and January 4, his runners accounted for six winners, highlighted by dominant allowance victories and consistency that underscores his position as one of New York’s most reliable sires.
The run began on New Year’s Eve at Aqueduct, where Bam’s Bliss Kiss capped off an excellent season with authority. The consistent filly scored her third consecutive victory, closing out 2025 with a decisive allowance win by three lengths while defeating a field that included four stakes winners. The performance pushed her career earnings to $240,640 and further showcased the durability and competitiveness that has become a hallmark of Solomini’s progeny.
Momentum carried straight into the New Year when Wynstock, a Grade 2-winning son of Solomini, delivered a standout performance on January 1. Racing in open allowance company, Wynstock drew off impressively to score by 7 1/4 lengths, a powerful statement to kick off 2026. Now a five-year-old with $366,282 in earnings, Wynstock continues to validate his class and consistency.
The week’s success continued on January 4 with National Identity, a multiple stakes-placed runner, returning to the winner’s circle. His victory matched a career-best Equibase Speed Figure of 102.
These recent results add to an already impressive résumé. Solomini finished #3 among New York sires in both 2024 and 2025, a testament to his consistency and growing influence in the state-bred program. Over the past three breeding seasons, he has averaged more than 115 mares bred, reflecting strong breeder confidence and a deep pipeline of runners yet to come.
A Grade 1-placed son of Curlin, Solomini continues to prove that his progeny can compete across conditions and levels, from allowance company to graded stakes. With early 2026 results already stacking up, there is plenty to look forward to as more of his runners make their way to the races this year.
Solomini stands the 2026 season at $7,500 LFÂ at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds.
