Three-year-old McDougal delivered an impressive maiden victory at Charles Town on August 21, building on a third-place finish in his career debut.
The West Virginia-bred gelding by Central Banker, out of Statuesque, by Girolamo, went straight to the front and never looked back, setting the pace before kicking clear to win by 14 1/4 lengths going seven furlongs on the dirt.
Bred and owned by Jill N. Daniel and trained by Stacey Viands, McDougal is another promising runner by Central Banker, who stands at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds.
