Solomini’s Call Saul Rallies to Maiden Victory at Finger Lakes

Three-year-old Call Saul broke his maiden on August 10 at Finger Lakes, rallying from off the pace to score by 1 1/4 lengths.

The New York-bred gelding by Solomini, out of Mo Bobby, by Laoban, settled toward the back early before saving ground on the final turn and finishing strongly to get the win going one mile and 70 yards on the dirt.

Bred and owned by Larry F. Botting and trained by Stephen Ubbink, Call Saul is another winner by Solomini, who stands at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds.
