Solomini with a great result at the OBS March Sale!
Hip 242, a New York-bred colt by Solomini, breezed :10.1 during the under tack show before selling to Jay Stone for $150,000 -- 20 times Solomini's $7,500 stud fee. The colt was a homebred for Topline Sales, who also consigned him to the sale.
The OBS March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training is the first major juvenile sale of the year and features young Thoroughbreds that have already begun early training and breeze for prospective buyers during the under tack show. The sale often produces promising racehorses as well as strong results for stallions represented by athletic, precocious offspring.
