New York breeding was well represented during Tuesday’s Ocala Breeders’ Sales Winter Mixed Sale, highlighted by a strong result for McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds. Hip 56, a New York-bred short yearling colt by Empire State-based sire Bucchero out of the stakes-placed City Zip mare Spirit of Rose, led the way for our program when he sold for $50,000 to Joe DiRico.
