Central Banker, standing at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds, sired the exacta in a $105,000 New York-bred allowance race at Belmont Park on October 25, led by four-year-old daughter Material Girl, who secured her second career victory.

Trained by Chad Brown and ridden by Manuel Franco, Material Girl settled just off the pace before advancing through the turn and challenging for the lead in upper stretch. The bay filly battled with fellow Central Banker daughter Liberty's Secret through the final furlong, ultimately prevailing by one length in a final time of 1:16.98 for 6 1/2 furlongs on the dirt.

Owned by Team Hanley and Thirty Year Racing, Material Girl is out of the Candy Ride (ARG) mare Tanmawwy and was bred in New York by Spruce Lane Farm, Edition Farm, Mashnee Stables, Copper Beach Stables, et al.

The victory brought Material Girl's career earnings to $251,050. She previously finished second in the $500,000 New York Stallion Series Stakes as a two-year-old, adding valuable black type to her record.

Liberty's Secret, a three-year-old daughter of Central Banker, completed the sire's one-two finish, placing 3 1/2 lengths ahead of the third-place finisher.

The result adds another strong performance to Central Banker's record as a sire of competitive New York-bred runners.
